The 2013 Season fixtures for both Division 1 and Division 2 are now online. There are four team in Division 1; Truro, Saracens, Helston and Countrymen while Division 2 has seven teams entered; Saracens C, Truro B, Saracens B, Helston B, Countrymen B, Helston C and Brannel.
Truro Beach Sessions

From the 15th of May, Truro club will be at Perranporth beach every wednesday evening from 18:30 (weather permitting) for fun beach volleyball sessions. Everyone is welcome!
CVA Annual General Meeting 2012

The meeting will take place in the Hub Club (adjacent to Carn Brea Leisure Centre) on Tuesday 15th May 2012, at 7.30 p.m. Clubs are reminded of their constitutional responsibilities re attendance. There are volunteers for most of the Committee positions, but confirmation (or more volunteers!) required for the position of Treasurer.

Helston Volleyball Club are being helped out with the purchase of new volleyballs by Sportsballshop.
Statement from Sportsballshop:
"With amateur-level sports teams finding it increasingly difficult to secure sponsorship and funding, we have now launched a new initiative which is open to teams across the UK. The 'Balls for Clubs' campaign, is aimed at supplying teams, with fundamental resources, that they are currently having to go without."

Tom Fisher

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Tom Fisher, Honorary Life President of Cornwall Volleyball Association. Tom died peacefully in late November and his life will be celebrated with a party in the new year. Tom was a true gentleman who inspired many, not just those he met through Volleyball.

Volleyball is played all over Cornwall from local league to regional. Volleyball is played in many schools and there are also beach tournaments held in the summer.
If you are thinking of taking up volleyball as a new sport or introducing it to your school or club, there’s never been a better time. With the GB team competing in the London Olympics, volleyball has never enjoyed such a profile.
