The 2nd Annual Cornish Schools Beach Volleyball Championships takes place on Friday 19th June with 9 schools entered from all over the Duchy - from Launceston in the east to Cape Cornwall in the west.

Last year's inaugural competition was a great success with students receiving some expert coaching from FIVB pro tour member and Team GB veteran Denise Austin (see pics) before entering the competition proper. Wadebridge came out on top and are represented strongly this year to defend their title. Such has been the interest this year that two age groups have been created to accommodate numbers.

The schools comp is part of the annual Perranporth Beach Tournament run by Countrymen VC and members will be on hand to assist with refereeing.
